about last night. Last night was my school's formal homecoming dance. I enjoyed every part of my day; getting my hair and makeup done and getting all dressed up to dancing all night with all my amazing friends. The energy within the venue was incredible and school spirit and love for one another was undeniable. All my smiling, singing, and laughing through the night caused me to lose my voice, but it was worth it. Because it is my last year in high school, I try to make every experience and every opportunity the best I possibly can. These are the last moments I will spend with the people who have helped shape me into I am today and I will cherish the memories forever.

My Today I blog expresses my daily accomplishments. Writing about one significant aspect about my day is self fulfilling and improves my state of mind. I format each post by beginning it with "Today I [Action Verb]..." By always having an action verb, I know that I have taken action at least once a day to do something project-based, hands-on, and productive.
