breakfast with my grandmother. First thing's first: I hate breakfast. I know it is supposed to be the most important meal of the day, but I always find this first meal of the day to set me off on the wrong foot. I tend to grab a coffee or tea and maybe a granola bar if I really feel the need to eat. My grandma, however, is the only reason for me to get out of bed early and actually eat breakfast. Every minute I spend with her, I appreciate so much because I learn so much from her and always leave inspired to do something spectacular. No one else can make me feel so special and confident to follow my dreams.
My Today I blog expresses my daily accomplishments. Writing about one significant aspect about my day is self fulfilling and improves my state of mind. I format each post by beginning it with "Today I [Action Verb]..." By always having an action verb, I know that I have taken action at least once a day to do something project-based, hands-on, and productive.
